PRONORM MATT LACQUER STONE GREY AND TERRA KITCHEN WITH CALACATTA WORKTOPS
This vibrant contemporary kitchen in Halifax was a real joy to design. Showcasing a bold use of colour and a clever combination of styles, this extraordinary project allowed us to truly embrace our creativity. The standout feature is undeniably the striking trio of tall shaker cabinets in gorgeous Terra orange. Seamlessly leading the eye up from the minimalist matching island, they bring a playful visual structure to the space. The elegant handleless units on either side soften the design while emphasising the luxe gold handle detailing. This understated Stone Grey tone continues to wrap around the room, offsetting the vivid palette. Pairing the soft grey with a shaker door cleverly accentuates the quirky, laidback atmosphere.
Successfully introducing multiple colours to an interior can be tricky. However, we think you’ll agree, this stunning kitchen goes to show how fantastic a bold colour scheme can look when executed well. We worked closely with our Halifax clients to devise an on-trend palette that captured their individual style. We then carefully applied each hue to multiple zones within the space to establish a sense of cohesion. Various gold accents also help tie the scheme together.
One of our favourite features has to be the luxury bar area hidden behind Pronorm’s ingenuous pocket doors. The antique mirror finish adds a real touch of glamour. We love how it reflects the gorgeous sunshine yellow on the wall opposite. An opulent marbled Calacatta worktop makes the perfect finishing touch. While this extraordinary interior certainly makes an eye-catching statement, we haven’t overlooked the practical side. Neff appliances, a Bora hob, Quooker tap and deluxe wine chiller ensure this kitchen is as fabulous to use as it is to admire.
