KBSA Designer Awards Finalist 2021

With just three weeks to go until the winners are announced, we’re delighted to share that our lead designer and director, Matthew Grantham, has been nominated for not one but three prestigious KBSA Kitchen Designer Awards.

Matthew has been nominated for awards in three categories, including; Kitchen Designer Of The Year (Up To £25k), Kitchen Designer Of The Year (£25k-£50k), and Kitchen Designer Of The Year (Over £50k). Having already made it through a rigorous selection process in order to qualify as a finalist, we have high hopes for results day. However, the judges face a challenging task, deciding between a host of stunning designs. You can see the three beautiful interiors for which we received our nominations below.

The unusual dimensions of this space combined with our client’s need for seating and storage to accommodate their large family posed an exciting design challenge. Having explored a variety of arrangements, we settled on a bespoke teardrop breakfast bar with a stunning matching coffered ceiling. A fantastic walk-in corner pantry provides impressive storage. Gorgeous lighting and luxurious cabinetry in Dark Sherwood deliver the showstopping finish our clients were looking for.

This stylish contemporary kitchen perfectly complements our Liverpool client’s glamorous lifestyle. A peninsular island with breakfast bar seating works brilliantly with the unconventional layout, creating an ideal spot to enjoy drinks from the wine cooler and hidden gin bar. A state-of-the-art Bora hob cleverly allows our client to impress their guests with their cooking, while sumptuous Dark Sherwood units and elegant peripheral downlights establish a stunning backdrop.

Featuring a spacious dining island, ample storage, and cutting-edge appliances, this kitchen is a real chef’s paradise. As well as offering amazing practical capabilities, the L-shaped island cleverly helps integrate the old and new areas of our client’s home. A timeless yet modern scheme encompassing natural wood and industrial concrete effect finishes establishes a wonderful sense of visual balance.

Here at Kreativ Kitchens, we specialise in the design and installation of exceptional cutting-edge modern interiors. We pride ourselves on thinking outside the box to find innovative and stylish solutions for each space, listening to our clients carefully in order to bring to life designs that perfectly capture the essence of their homes. Gaining such fantastic recognition for our superb kitchens certainly makes for a rewarding testament to our hard work and dedication. It’s a pleasure to have our genuine passion and talent for contemporary kitchen design recognised.

Run by the UK’s leading kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom association, the KBSA’s Kitchen Designer Awards is a prominent yearly event celebrating excellence within the industry. The anonymous and transparent judging system ensures fairness and certifies that the winner truly represents the very best of their class. Every year the competition is incredibly high, and 2021 is no exception! We’d like to take this opportunity to wish Matthew the best of luck and look forward to sharing the results with you on 9th December 2021!
