MIDNIGHT BLUE & OXIDE HANDLELESS KITCHEN

This gorgeous contemporary yet timeless two-tone design perfectly suits this compact kitchen. The cleverly balanced positioning of lighter-toned units and darker base cabinetry allows for a full row of overhead cupboards maximising storage without overwhelming the space. An intelligent design feature, the bright colour reflects light giving the illusion of space whilst the textural oxide finish adds interest and stylish sophistication. The contrast in finishes between the flat matt midnight blue and organic textured oxide adds another dimension to the design that’s emphasised by natural light. The Blanco Norte quartz worktops match seamlessly with the oxide cabinets for a truly flawless aesthetic.

Beneath the row of overhead cabinets are further smart design features such as an in-built extraction system which is absolutely ideal for saving space. Integrated under cabinet lighting provides a practical solution for ensuring visibility beneath the units and also creates a wonderful sense of depth and modern elegance.

The L-shaped island allows for a free flow of movement through the space as well as providing a work surface within reach of every storage unit. We created further space for preparation & mixing within the old chimney breast and included an additional work surface that is discreetly built within a pocket door system where tea and coffee could be made without interrupting the sleek design. Positioning the hob so that it faces the seating area gives the host a feeling of being at the head of the table while cooking, making guests feel comfortable to sit and relax. State of the art Miele appliance give this stunning yet practical kitchen remarkable functionality, exactly what our client was looking for.

Another element of the brief was to create a sense of cohesion between the kitchen and living areas without allowing the large kitchen to dominate. We achieved this by extending the kitchen island into a dining area, introducing the same oak finish as the tower units for a sense of fluidity whilst giving a comforting nod to a traditional dining table. Beautiful and quirky globe pendant lights positioned over the seating area emphasise the contrasting zones of the working and living space, with downlights providing a very minimal and practical lighting option.

"Absolutely delighted with my new kitchen from design to finish. Good quality bespoke units well fitted. Everything arrived on time and completed as arranged. The company made sure that we were completely satisfied on completion. The quote was extremely competitive and I was very surprised that you could have a bespoke fitted kitchen with quality materials for very little more than the well known high street kitchen suppliers. We would highly recommend this company without hesitation."
