Our client’s Leeds kitchen has been completely transformed. Removing the internal wall allowed us to open up the room, creating a more spacious kitchen with a bright and characterful dining area. Our clients were delighted with how we retained a homely atmosphere whilst also making the space feel airy and clean.
Sitting where the original wall would have stood, the large peninsula is crucial to the success of this beautiful kitchen. Positioning the hob on the peninsula frees up space for a full-height fridge freezer and double oven on the other side of the room, making it possible to achieve a wonderfully practical working layout. The peninsula also provides much needed additional worktop and storage space.
As well as impacting the functional layout of the room in terms of cooking, the peninsula similarly elevates the stylish dining area. Including breakfast bar seating, the peninsula breaks up the kitchen and dining areas, establishing a sense of cohesion whilst also distinguishing the two separate zones.
